A photographic illustration series: This project reimagines the traditional Russian nesting doll as a matrilineal family tree. Each doll, crafted from handmade cardboard and adorned with hand-printed designs, represents a generation of women. The series explores the concept of family as a continuous, evolving lineage passed down through the maternal line.
